Blitzkid Austin Concert reviews
Poppins was a disappointment
The play itself was good in parts, though the plot was too heavy for children- its target audience. As a result, throughout the show there was ALWAYS at least one child talking, crying, complaining and generally ruining the whole show for everyone. The musical numbers were staged well but the two young actors who played the Banks children were weak and you couldn't understand them. MOST disturbing of all was the fact that the money hungry theatre owners allowed children of all ages in the theatre - including a six month old baby. No one under the age of 5 should be admitted - period. How do I know? I asked the mother how old she was.
